AMS acquires optical sensor specialist MAZeT

AMS has recently closed the transaction to acquire MAZeT, a provider of color and spectral sensing ICs and ASICs with a focus on precision engineering for industrial and medical applications.

Focused on industrial and medical applications, MAZeT has strong expertise in advanced color and spectral sensing and outstanding optical engineering. Its capabilities include IC design, filter design and hardware and software system development. MAZeT’s JENCOLOR® sensors have been used in many applications including airplane interior lighting, agricultural sensors, and medical skin lesion analysis.
